🚦Did you know? Having sex during your period can have significant health risks!

Some people say “there’s no problem,” but the truth is this: 👇

1. Higher risk of infections

During menstruation, the cervix is slightly open and menstrual blood creates a suitable environment for bacteria.

👉 This means you can get HIV, Hepatitis B, or other sexually transmitted infections more easily.

2. Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID)

If bacteria enter the uterus, they can cause PID — leading to pain, fever, and even infertility.

3. Messiness and discomfort

Blood can cause odor, more pain, or discomfort during sex.

4. Pregnancy is still possible!

Yes! Sperm can survive up to 5 days inside the body.
If you have sex toward the end of your period, you can still get pregnant.

✅ If you must have sex during menstruation:

☃️ Use a condom (protection is essential!)
☃️ Maintain hygiene — change pads and underwear often
☃️ Ensure both partners agree and understand the situation

🤗 Your health is more important than a few minutes of pleasure.
